About Us

Alex Eligh Community Center (AECC) is the home of recreational programs, events, and activities in Newark, NY. For over 70 years, the AECC has provided many programs for youth, senior citizens, and families for our community.

Our programs cater to all age groups, providing recreational and educational activities for children, adults, and seniors. Join us to participate in engaging and fulfilling experiences that suit your interests and preferences.

Open Gym

The Alex Eligh Community Center hosts Open Gym offering activities in the gym along with our lounge. School age youth are welcomed to basketball, foosball, pool, our concession stand, and much more!
